David grew up in Clarks Summit, PA. where Benjamin G. McGrew, his father, taught New Testament Greek and Theology at Baptist Bible College & Seminary. David attended Cedarville University (OH) from 1996 - 2000, and graduated with a B.A. in Music Theory and Composition. His graduate studies are also in Music Composition from Ithaca College, NY. David has been on the faculty of BBC&S since FA 2001.
