Services and Location: We are now meeting at 10:30 AM each Sunday in the auditorium of the Lackawanna Heritage Valley Center at the intersection of Business Rt. 6 and Old Plank Rd. in Mayfield. Use the read entrance from the main parking lot (the "River Entrance"). Our church office is in the same building (use the entrance on the side furthest from the intersection). Directions & map
If you live near us, we invite you to visit our services. If you do not have a church home where the Bible is honored as the Word of God or where people really care for each other and are serious about obeying God, consider making us your home church. If you are traveling through or visiting in the area, please worship with us on Sunday.
Carbondale Bible Fellowship began as a Bible study in the fall of 2001, meeting on the mountain above Carbondale in Pastor Schmidt's home. Our concern is to take the Bible seriously. We accept it as the Word of God and study it diligently for the purpose of learning to live as God wants us to live. Our study is not for the purpose of learning more facts (as important as that is), but is intended to impact people's lives in very practical ways. We met in our own facilities in downtown Carbondale from January 2003 to October 2004 when we moved to the Lackawanna Heritage Valley Center. We began the transition from a Bible study ministry to a church in the summer of 2004.

Please click the "screen" link if you want to read it online (requires the free Acrobat Reader), but if you want to print it out, please use the "print" link--download it to your computer before opening it; it's a very large file in most cases and will not display well (or at least very quickly) online. (To download it, do a "right click" on the print link and select "Save target as..." (In Mac OS X, right click [or Control click] and select "Download link to disk.)
We'll continue to post more information about the church as time permits.
