A Note re. Hit Counters

The hit counters on my pages have always been the FrontPage component (that's our standard web tool here), but efforts to maintain a fairly high level of internal network security on campus have complicated the use of counters. They have been "up and down" several times in the past two years. As of Jan. '04 they are working again.

As of 8/22/03 I added an external web counter from an outside source as a backup/comparison. It's only on my main NT Resources page.

I cannot guarantee the precise accuracy of the counts, but hopefully they will serve as a general guide. (If this were a commercial site, this would be problematic.)

These pages use CSS and Unicode UTF-8 encoding; most Greek text is now in Unicode format, though some remnants of the older, non-standard Galilee encoding remain. You should not have difficulties viewing this material if you have a relatively current web browser and a font that contains polytonic Greek. (Even the archaic IE will work, but you ought to be using FireFox! :)
